Gezelle Shonts Norwitz, daughter of the original owner, presently owns Cameo Electrolysis and continues a family tradition of professional yet personalized treatment of every client. A graduate of Ellicot High School, Gezelle earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS). She is a graduate of New York's Berkowitz School of Electrolysis and has mastered the latest technology and techniques.
Gezelle has developed her own technique of treatment that is not only more effective, but much more comfortable than previous methods. Each treatment is highly individualized to the client's needs. Electrolysis is not just about methodology, but an art that takes into account many variables. Not only is each client unique, but each treatment the client receives is unique depending on the clients level of stress, physiological factors such as change in sleep patterns or medication and multiple other factors that can effect the clients tolerance at each treatment.
Gezelle is a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE).
Izetta Shonts, a lifelong Colorado Springs native, started the business after many years of receiving electrolysis treatments herself. Rather than continue as a client, Izetta decided to become a certified electrologist and open her own shop. Cameo Electrolysis earned a reputation for state-of-the-art treatment and personalized service. She retired after fifteen years selling the business to her daughter-in-law.
Beverly Shonts became the owner when Izetta retired. Cameo Electrolysis grew in reputation and moved to its present location during the thirteen years under Beverly’s ownership.
All three women remain involved with Cameo Electrolysis and are members of the American Electrology Association. Beverly and Gezelle remain Certified Professional Electrologists (CPE), your assurance of the highest professional standards.
